“Six years ago, I never thought I’d be using an off-road trailer, but now I can’t imagine adventuring without one,” Brad from TrailRecon shares.

“The electric roof is a game-changer,” Brad explains. “Setting up used to take a bit of effort, but now you just press a button, and it’s done. Even better, you can do it with the remote. It’s so quick and smooth—it really makes life easier.”

Internal Living Space

“The inside is so well done. The bed is comfortable, the storage is smart, and there’s plenty of room to move around,” Brad says. “We’ve had rainy nights where we just stayed inside, played cards, or had a meal, and it never felt cramped.”

The upgraded cushions and LED lighting add to the experience. “There’s plenty of headroom too, even for someone tall like me. It’s a really nice space to hang out in when you need to.”

Central Locking

“The central locking system is such a great feature,” Brad explains. “No more messing with padlocks or worrying about whether everything is locked up. One button, and it’s all secure. It’s super convenient and gives you peace of mind.”

Canvas and Awning

“The canvas is tough, and the 270-degree awning is brilliant,” Brad says. “We’ve used it in heavy rain, and it holds up great. It’s perfect for cooking or relaxing outside while staying dry.”

Kitchen

“The kitchen redesign is really smart,” Brad says. “It’s easier to set up now, and there’s more table space for cooking or drying dishes. The stainless steel surfaces are tough and easy to clean, and the storage is well thought out.”
The one-handed operation of the kitchen slide is another favourite. “It’s the little things like that which make it so much better.”

“The storage in the X3 is incredible,” Brad says. “There’s space for everything—gear, supplies, you name it. The molle panels are handy, and the drawers and compartments make it easy to keep everything organised.”

Electrical (Redarc TVMS)

“The electrical system is awesome,” Brad says. “The Redarc TVMS makes it so easy to manage power, and I love that I can control everything from my phone. The rock lights are a nice touch too—they’re great for setting up camp at night.”
The 300Ah battery system and solar panel give him confidence on longer trips. “It’s reliable and keeps everything powered up, even when we’re off the grid for days.”

“The 40-gallon water tank is plenty for Regina and me,” Brad says. “I really like the external water fill—it’s easy to access and secure. Having enough water on hand is a big deal, and this setup makes it simple.”

X3 STORAGE

The X3 offers generous storage space with over 1850 litres. Ingeniously designed compartments maximise storage throughout the camper trailer body. Each area has a specific purpose: the large right-hand side compartment holds a portable toilet, underseat storage is for clothes, and the spacious interior accommodates bulky campsite furniture. The kitchen provides ample storage for pantry items, including dedicated compartments for cans, eggs, and bread.

The lounge area of the camper trailer offers hidden storage spaces, including a large rear drawer accessible from outside.
